As the game is focused on a single city, it lacks the feeling of being on a journey. I prefer when quests are separated by distance like in Fallout or Atom RPG where you can complete a bunch of quests in one location, see all that this location has to offer then and go explore a different location. When you try to complete one quest, you get three other quests in the meantime and soon you forget what you were supposed to do and have to rely on your journal too much. From the very beginning you are thrown into a big city, you are surrounded by NPCs that have something to say and want you to do something for them. Overwhelming pacing, the same problem that Baldur's Gate 2 had. That mushroom part of Atom RPG plot was retarted. While it's a decline compared to Atom RPG, it's still better than 99% of available games. Otherwise, Ill continue to hook my claws into trudograd, looking forward to the December/Januar update.Ĭontinue doing what you do Atomboy, glad you guys are keeping it up.įinished this game today. (For example the cloud save function, which could save people some hassle using their character from ATOM, think of android or console users). What I don't get is that there seem to be a few features from the first game missing here, stuff you already did and were clearly missed. In trudograd, I like that you get just thrown into a city but newer players or the non-crpg-crew will have a hard time and probably turn it off before they get hooked. Even dead city was a nice fresh breath of air for me personally. You guys did an excellent job with updating the original game. Now I played through it twice and started with trudograd several days ago. Played ATOM back in early access and thought wth is this, missing tons of QOL features and in general being clunky but also oozing potential. Here are some screenshots showing what's currently in the game and what you can build upon:įirst of all, I really enjoyed the game but it took me several tries to get into it and Im glad I pushed through. Maybe there's a quest to set one of them up? Maybe inspired by Pretty Woman?ĥ) You should also be able to blackmail some high-ranking officials who have slept with you for money. Maybe they fight over customers?Ĥ) If you yourself is a prostitute then you should get a special way to resolve the quest "Not-Really-A Child's Play" involving Ignat Turukhanov. If you yourself is a prostitute you should have additional dialogue lines there.ģ) Add a special hooker quest line involving the other brothels. In that way you can make some quick bucks.Ģ) There's a brothel in the Grey Corner as well as at the Docks. This will open up a row of new possibilities for female characters.ġ) You should now get random encounters on the world map that allows you to sell sex to strangers. When you have that you should be able to convince Dandelion the Pimp that you should start working for him. After you have sold sex to Julian the Horny you should get a special distinction called "Working Hoe". However after you have sold sex for the first time you can't, as of now, do anything with that experience. As you know you can then go and meet Julian the Horny at the hotel bar and if you pick the right choices sell sex to him for 100Rubles. Currently there's no way to disapprove him. When you first meet Dandelion the Pimp he says that he doesn't want to hire you as a prostitute as you are "not much like my. It will open some new possibilities for women of the right attributes to make some extra money. It would be cool if you could help the northerners already from the beginning though.Ītomboy here's an idea for a new path when you play as a female character. I will replay this immediately and do the revolutionary path instead of the police path. Seeing this I'm really looking forward to your next game! However all the battles that involves the Northerners assault on the city could be made much more difficult.Ĭompared to the first game, which I loved, Trudograd is like BG2 to BG1. Lore wise it's good that the random encounters are low level scum with bad equipment however if they could charge you from different directions and even overwhelm you then that could mitigate the situation somewhat. The game was superb but the fights need to be made more difficult. The random encounters were very easy and of the few fights I had to do to advance the story only two were actually challenging. Thank you ATOM Team for another great game! I just finished my first run, which took me 40hours according to Steam, and I loved every bit of it.Īs a story fag this is my type of RPG however there were so few fights in this that I was actually longing for combat.
